The Jaguar F-Type Coupe is go
A year after it showcased its all-new two-seater convertible - the F-Type - Jaguar has revealed its coupe version at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show. The car will initially be launched in three major markets – Germany, the UK and the USA. It is expected to reach Indian shores next year.
Typically, there are three major variants – the F-Type, F-Type S and F-Type R. The three variants are distinguished by three different engines. The base model will get a 3.0L V6 supercharged petrol, which is good enough for 335bhp, 450Nm and a 0-100kph time of 5.3s. Top speed will be 260kph. The same engine with a power and torque upgrade to 375bhp and 460Nm, respectively, will make it in the S variant. The additional power bringing down the dash to 100, under 5 seconds. The flagship F-Type R Coupe will get the hairier 5.0-litre supercharged V8 with 542bhp, a top speed of 300kph and a 0-100 time of just 4.2 seconds.
