Triumph Bonneville T100's first Indian ride
So when rumour had it that the iconic British motorcycle company was going to set up shop in India back in 2011, the excitement was naturally intense. By November ’13, we learned of the diverse range of motorcycles the company has lined up for India – the Adventure, Classic, Cruiser, Roadster and Supersports ranges.
TopGear is the first motoring magazine in India to get a piece of the action – we took the quintessential British T100 for a desi spin on the Faridabad highway and then through the urban roads of Gurgaon for a bit.
This Classic treat – the second most affordable Triumph motorcycle in India – looks more stunning in the flesh than the pictures suggest. If you’re a fan of the retro design style of motorcycles of the ’60s, the Bonnie will definitely set your boat afloat. It’s old-school but there’s modern tech wrapped inside those classic lines.
