BMW Vision EfficientDynamics in India
On display till 24th May in New Delhi
After its first unveiling in the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show, the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics concept car is now being displayed at the Deutsche Motoren BMW showroom on Mathura road, New Delhi.
The four seater concept sports car performs like a sports car with a top speed of 250 kph and 0-100 kph in 4.8 seconds; while delivering the fuel economy of a small car at around 26.5 kpl (manufacturer figure). It also boasts a CO2 rating of 99 gm/km, which is far superior to conventional hybrid cars.
Under the hood, the BMW Vision EfficientDynamics car is powered by a combination of turbo diesel with a hybrid synchronous motor at the front axle and a full-hybrid engine at the rear axle. The overall system output is 241kW/328 bhp.
The car will be on display till May 24th, so if you live in New Delhi or anywhere around it, you may want to drop in and look at the gorgeous beast yourself. Or you can see more shots of it right here.
