Ford has tied-up with National Geograhic channel for an all-new series called My Endeavour Alterrain. The series is based on five celebrities driving down to a destination in India they’ve never been before. The celebrities include Bollywood actress Gul Panag, TV star Rajiv Khandelwal, writer Chetan Bhagat, film director Rajesh Kukunoor and boxer Vijender Singh. Interestingly Vijender is the only one of these celebs to have owned and driven the Endeavour before (while Gul is a regular at Audi events).

The celebs will be driving the recently launched Endeavour all-terrain edition. This edition, which was launched at the event, gets features like faux wood inserts on dashboard, steering column-mounted audio controls (similar to the Figo), auto up and down power windows, along with a touchscreen sat-nav system and reverse camera as well. To differentiate it from the regular Endeavour on road, there are 'Alterrain' stickers running around the body panels. Other exterior additions include a front bar, roof tray, rear spoiler, chrome exhaust trim along with a mirror on the rear door. This edition will sell for Rs 23.2 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi.

The series will be filmed in April and the first episodes will be aired around May this year. TopGearers, does this proposition excite you? Let us know in the comments below, along with what car would you take on such a journey.
