HM roll out refreshed Mitsubishi Montero
The chunky SUV receives mild upgrades for MY2012, Cedia prices slashed
Hindustan Motors Ltd., the company that handles Mitsubishi's Indian operations, have today launched the refreshed Montero for MY2012. The SUV is subject to minor upgrades, which according to Mitsubishi, "enhance the design and ambience quotient of the sturdy SUV".
In addition to the features offered on the existing Montero, the refreshed version gets a new coloured key front bumper, new chrome radiator grille, new finish on power window panel and new stitch design on leather seats, along with a new ambient lighting system.
Engine specs remain the same, with the current turbocharged 3.2L diesel engine producing 199bhp and 441Nm of torque being carried over to the upgraded Montero, and three shades being offered - white, black, and metallic silver.
After launching the Pajero Sport, Outlander 2012 and now the Montero 2012 back-to-back, Hindustan Motors have also slashed prices of the Mitsubishi Cedia, which is now available from a starting price of Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
