Honda seems to have its hands full this year with the Jazz and the Mobilio. Both vehicles will be launched in India in the next financial year.

A lot has been said by us about the 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel motors that you will find under the hood of these vehicles. But Honda seems to stay tight-lipped on engine specs for now. So we will have to wait for a time closer to the launch date for Honda to talk about the engines powering these vehicles.

Honda also unveiled the Vision XS-1 concept a compact SUV that has three rows of seating for seven passengers.

Honda will be working on a production vehicle derived from the Vision XS-1 concept. Expect all the fancy lighting and the large sliding doors to be replaced by conventional headlights and hinged doors.

Going by its size, the Vision XS-1 will use the Amaze's underpinnings as well as its engines. For now, details are scarce, but expect Honda to unveil a production-ready version by early next year.
