Honda Brio automatic, out now
Equipped with the same 5-speed automatic transmission as the Honda City, available in two flavours
Honda has officially announced the arrival of its Brio automatic, which we drove a couple of weeks ago. Available in two variants, Honda Brio is priced at Rs 5.74 lakh* for the S(o) version and Rs 5.99 lakh* for the top-of-the-line V version.
The car gets the City's 5-speed automatic gearbox and Honda claims that it offers an impressive overall fuel economy figure of 16.5kpl. Apart from the auto varants, Honda has also launched an all new EX version with the manual gearbox of the car. This will slot above the base E version, and will come equipped with a factory fitted stereo and two front speakers, as noticeable extras over the base car. The Brio EX will cost Rs 4.26 lakh*.
With the arrival of the Brio automatic, small car buyers get a third choice for automatic transmission in the segment. The other two being offered by Maruti A-Star and Hyundai i10.
