Honda unveils special editions of Amaze, City and BR-V

There are no mechanical changes but just some styling tweaks

Honda has announced special editions of three of its cars—the Honda City 20th Anniversary Edition, Honda Amaze Pride Edition and Honda WR-V Edge Edition.
The special editions will be based on the ‘ZX’ variant of the Honda City, ‘S(O)’ variant of the Amaze and the ‘S’ variant of the WR-V.

Commenting on the unveiling of these special editions, Jnaneswar Sen, vice president, marketing and sales, Honda Cars India said, “We are extremely delighted to introduce the special editions for City, Amaze and WR-V and are confident that these will be appreciated by our customers for the enhanced value they offer.”

The WR-V Edge Edition gets safety features like rear parking sensor and rear camera with IRVM display. Other features like gun metal finish on its 16-inch alloy wheels and one month free subscription to Honda Connect will be included in the ‘Edge’ edition. The WR-V special edition is priced at Rs 8.01 lakh (ex-showroom-Delhi) for manual-petrol and Rs 9.04 lakh for manual diesel.

The 20th Anniversary Edition gets bits of chrome around the car and a special edition emblem. Based on the top-end variant, ZX, the special edition will cost Rs 13.74 lakh for Petrol CVT and Rs 13.82 lakh for diesel manual.

Lastly, the Honda Amaze ‘Pride’ edition will get a 7-inch infotainment system with GPS compatibility, special edition seat covers, armrest, steering wheel cover and rear parking sensors. The ‘Pride’ edition is based on the ‘S(O)’ variant and will cost Rs 6.29 lakh for manual Petrol and Rs 7.83 lakh for manual Diesel.
