Having opened bookings for the Eon late last month, Hyundai finally decided to show the public what they would be putting their money down for. Hyundai officially unveiled their latest small car challenger at a staggering price point starting at 2.69 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The Eon will be offered in six variants and will be packed with features in good Hyundai fashion. The top-of-the-line Eon will cost 3.72 lakh and will be equipped with features like tilt steering, front power windows, internally adjustable wing mirrors and central locking.

The car as we had reported earlier is equipped with a three-cylinder, 814cc motor which makes 55bhp and 76Nm. Hyundai claims a stunning 21.1kpl which should go down well with the budget conscious buyer who they are targeting. Moreover, the styling is far more contemporary and there's a two-tone beige cabin on offer along with the option of a driver's side airbag.

A great value proposition then, one that can help Hyundai make that final push toward getting closer to Maruti Suzuki.
