Is this the sound of the Lamborghini Cabrera?

Lamborghini lets out (some) engine noise of its "new creature". V10, or turbo'ed V8?

The Lamborghini Gallardo is now dead. The final car rolled off the production line in Sant'Agata yesterday, and naturally, a successor is in the offing.

The successor, named the 'Cabrera' by the rumour mills on the interweb, has been undergoing some serious testing at the 'Ring, and it doesn't look like it is too far away from hitting production.

Now Lamborghini has come up with a website called HexagonProject.com, and while details are scarce, visiting the website leads you on to a nice fighter jet-style engine start button. Press it, and you shall hear the roar of its 'new creature'. Unless this is another bonkers concept like the Sesto Elemento or the Egoista, it must be the Cabrera, surely.

It's a very short sound clip, and it's difficult to figure out if it is an evolution of the naturally-aspirated 5.2-litre V10 from the outgoing Gallardo, or if it is the brand-new turbocharged V8 that's been speculated about widely.

Listen to it here, and then tell us - what do you think it is?
