Isuzu announces price hike
The new prices will come in to effect from September 1
If you are planning to buy an Isuzu pick-up truck, then you may have to hurry up. The Japanese carmaker has announced that it will increase the prices of its entire D-Max line-up by Rs 20,000 to Rs 50,000. The vehicles which are hit by this price hike are the D-Max Regular Cab, the D-Max S-Cab and the D-Max V-Cross. Don’t fret. You still have a few days left with you to book yours, as the new prices will come in to effect from September 1.
This increase in price is due to the rising input and distribution costs. Isuzu is not the first carmaker to increase the prices this year. In fact, manufacturers such as Maruti Suzuki, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Nissan and Datsun have also increased the prices of their offerings.
While the D-Max S-Cab and the Regular Cab are powered by a 2.5-litre turbo-diesel (78bhp and 176Nm of torque), the V-Cross is powered by the same motor but produces 56 more horses than the S-Cab and the Regular Cab. This is the second time in eight months that Isuzu has increased the prices of its car. Back in January, the Japanese car manufacturer had increased the prices of its entire portfolio by around Rs 15,000.
