Jaguar Land Rover at the 2014 Auto Expo

The stunning F-Type Coupe, the Project 7, C-X17 and RR LWB, all make it to the Auto Expo

Did you know, in 2013, Jaguar Land Rover sold 21% more cars in India than they did in 2012? Yes, that's healthy growth and good enough numbers to convince the top bosses at JLR that India is a market that cannot be ignored. And that is exactly why the company has today unveiled four new products, a promising concept and a one-off sports model.

Of the new products, there's the stunning F-Type Coupe, new 9-speed auto gearbox-equipped Range Rover Evoque, refreshed Discovery and longer, even more luxurious Range Rover LWB (which we've already driven). Then there's the C-X17 Concept SUV that will soon go into production.

And finally the Project 7, a one-off design study based on the new Jaguar F-Type. A single-seat, all-aluminium-bodied roadster, the Project 7 features a Jaguar D-Type inspired fairing and carbon fibre components. It is powered by a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol motor churning out 542bhp and 680Nm of torque, letting it do 0-100kph in 4.2 seconds before maxing out at 300kph.
