Launched: Fiat Punto Evo Pure
New entry point to Fiat ownership
Fiat has decided to replace the entry-level Punto Pure with the new Evo Pure, and that means you can no longer have a Punto with the old styling.
The new Punto Evo Pure gets the same styling as the Punto Evo with those 'Reindeer' headlamps and the new front bumper. Under the skin, it's all the same, with the 1.2-litre petrol unit that has a max output of 67bhp and 96Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed manual.
While the comfort and feature list is short since it is the entry-level model in the Punto range, and the least expensive in Fiat's portfolio, it is more expensive than the Punto Pure it replaces. While the earlier entry range Punto was priced at Rs 4.8 lakh, the new Punto Evo Pure starts at Rs 5.13 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom, Mumbai).
