Honda wants to join the festivities and for the season has introduced a new Jazz Privilege Edition which gets updates including a new infotainment system and compatibility with the Honda Connect app.

This particular edition of the Jazz gets the new DIGIPAD 17.7cm touchscreen infotainment unit which was introduced earlier this year with the facelifted City. It also sports premium-looking seat covers with 'Privilege Edition' embossed on it. The added safety is the rear parking sensor but you still don't get a reversing camera. Another additional feature listed on the special edition Jazz is the Honda Connect app which offers the owner with a number of helpful functions including fuel log records, locating the nearest Honda dealer and fuel stations, impact alert, car location and trip analysis.

The Privilege Edition is a level above the top end V variant of the Jazz lineup, available with both diesel and petrol units. The 1.2-litre petrol unit (90bhp, 110Nm) gets an option of manual and CVT both while the 1.5-litre diesel (98bhp, 200Nm) is only available with a manual box. The prices, a premium of Rs 5000 over the V variant, are as follows:
V MT Privilege Edition (Petrol) – Rs 7.36 lakh
V CVT Privilege Edition (Petrol) – Rs 8.42 lakh
V MT Privilege Edition (Diesel) – Rs 8.82 lakh
