Refreshing a vehicle seems to be in vogue now a days, the practice has been pretty prevalent by manufacturers in Europe. Mahindra seems to be following the same exercise out here and with the Xylo looking way more attractive than before we are surely not complaining.

So lets start with the obvious bits, the front grill has been re-designed completely and looks more at home than the grill it replaces. The headlight stay the same but now gets a blacked out effect to give it a sportier look. There has been a liberal dose of black duct tape plastered around the windowsill to give it a wrap around effect.

Inside, the top-of-the-line E9 variant comes with leather seats and a new dual-tone dashboard and some fake wood on the center console. The most important change out here is the door handles, which look much better, and way more finished than the earlier Xylo.

There are two engine options on sale, the mEagle E4 and E8 variant and mHawk E9 variant. The mEagle is also available in detuned mDI CRDe guise in the base variant mostly targeted for fleet sales with the D2 and D4 variants.

Booking for the refreshed Mahindra Xylo starts today. Ex-showroom Delhi prices are as follows...

D2: Rs 7.37 lakh
D4: Rs 7.77 lakh
E4 mEagle: Rs 8.11 lakh
E4 mEagle ABS: Rs 8.34 lakh
E8 mEagle ABS: Rs 9.10 lakh
E8 mEagle ABS & Airbags: Rs 9.47 lakh
E9 mHawk: Rs 10.25 lakh
