Maruti launches Estilo 'Nlive'

Yet another limited-run hatchback from MSIL's stable

It seems to have become a monthly thing now. Every month, Maruti Suzuki seems to have a limited-edition version of one of its hatchbacks ready. The Wagon R, the A-star and the Alto have all made trips to the special-edition booth, and now it's the Estilo's turn.

Called the Estilo 'Nlive', this special edition adds a few notable features to the standard car. On the outside, the 'Nlive' gets body graphics, decals, body-coloured mudflaps and full wheel covers. It is also available in Breeze Blue, a shade exclusive to the limited-run model.

Inside, you find a new double-DIN music system with USB connectivity, Art leather seat covers, new cushions, 'Nlive'-embossed floor mats, dual-tone steering wheel cover and a rear parcel tray (in beige, no less).

Mr Manohar Bhat, Vice President, Marketing, Maruti Suzuki said, "In recent months, we have had good success with limited editions of some of our recent models such as Wagon R, A-star and Alto. Limited editions bring in incremental sales numbers. We are confident that the Estilo Nlive will be liked by the customers for its attractive new feature list."

The extra features, which would otherwise cost Rs 23,000, are available on this car for a mere Rs 15,000 more than the base car's price. Will it help push the slow-moving Estilo out of dealerships, TopGearers?
