With Porsche Ducati and Ferrari in their kitty, Mumbai-based Shreyans Motors will also be instrumental in making Maserati just a chequebook away from Indians.

Maserati, an arm of fiat who also own Ferrari will make the Quatraporte 4 door and the Gran Turismo Coupe available in India soon.

Maserati and Ferrari share a lot of tech and know how between themselves. And while it won’t get the same bragging rights at a bar table as a Ferrari, believe us, if you get out of a maser, jaws are going to drop anyway.

UPDATE: Maserati will be here sooner than expected. It's officially launching on April 6th 2011.
