New Lambo sells out in its first year
Lamborghini boss confirms Aventador’s 12-month production run sold
It appears the people of The World have shaken off the hangover of the economic crisis with a call for more power, more carbon fibre and more orange-ness.
Lamborghini chief Stephan Winkelmann confirmed that the first 12-month production run of the jaggedy, carbon-fibrey and shouty Aventador has already been sold out, fresh from its launch at the Geneva motor show.
Yes, the first year, sold.
Deliveries will start late in 2011, and will headline a most impressive line-up of quite stonking machinery.
"The extraordinary responses to the new Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 is the best proof that our vision is right," says Stephan.
Spot on, old chap. And if the proof is in the pudding, have a taste of this - an excuse to look at more pics of the stunning new Aventador.
