For Hyundai (HMIL), it all seems about the Grand i10 now, doesn't it? Besides the recent launch, it was also the 5 millionth car to come out of HMIL's stable. Moreover, they seem to have dropped the 'i10' from all their media communication about the car these days, simply referring to it as the Hyundai Grand. Well, what matters is that we liked the car, and it now comes with automatic variants.

The 4-speed automatic tranny will add two additional variants to the 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine trim, with the Grand i10 Sportz AT costing Rs 5.65 lakh, and the Grand i10 Asta AT priced at Rs 5.92 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

Commenting on the introduction of Grand Automatic, Mr. Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. Vice President - Sales & Marketing, Hyundai Motor India Ltd, said, "We have launched the Grand in September this year and it has been extremely well received. We have conducted many product clinics and due to positive customer feedback the automatic transmission in Grand is introduced. The Grand automatic transmission further improves our value proposition offering smooth and effortless driving for customers. This will enhance the Modern, Sporty, Trendy and Progressive Styling of Hyundai brand in compact segment."

So, did this make the Grand i10 more appealing to you? Also, should we too conform and start referring to the car as the Hyundai Grand? Let us know by getting chatty in the comments below.
