So we have been talking about the Terrano for months now, right from its unveil in August, to our review last month. After much bouncing around with Terrano's launch date, it seems that the gods have finally aligned the stars in a favourable position, and the Terrano prices have finally been outed.

Starting at Rs 9.58 lakh (ex-showroom, Chennai), the Terrano XL 1.6 petrol is priced around a lakh and half higher than the Duster RXE 1.6 petrol, which is priced ar Rs 8.13 lakh (again ex-Chennai). Of course for the extra buck you do get a more premium SUV and the Nissan badge.

In case you haven't been following up on the Terrano, it comes in three engine options - a 1.6-litre petrol engine that produces 103bhp and 145Nm of torque, and a 1.5-litre dCi diesel block offering two sets of tunes. One churning out 84bhp and 200Nm, and the other putting out 109bhp and 248Nm. There are three variant types, namely XE, XL and XV.

In case you're already putting on your shoes to run to the nearest Nissan dealership, they've started accepted bookings at Rs. 50,000 advance.
