Let us begin with something brawny, something off-roady, something incredibly safe. The ML-Class. This one's no regular ML, but the one that saves you not only from bad roads but from bullets too. It's the ML Guard. The ML that ensures your safety no matter what. The cabin is armoured with modern-age materials that keep you safe and sound, even if there's someone firing bullets right at you. All that armour adds a huge amount of weight, but the guys at Merc have ensured that it handles well despite the increase in heft.

The other star on the stage, quite literally in this case, is the stunning CLA. It is the CLS's great-looking cousin with one tiny difference - it looks even better. And the joy doesn't end yet, because the car on display is the fastest CLA ever, the CLA 45 AMG. It gets a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that has been tuned by AMG to make 360 horses and 450Nm. That's some power from a 2,000cc engine, no?

All of that means it touches 100kph in a mere 4.6 seconds before hitting its top speed of 250kph. The engine is mated to a dual-clutch, seven-speed gearbox.

Just after unveiling the CLA, Merc threw a surprise at us with the unveiling of the new GLA, Merc's sportiest and most compact SUV. It's still a few months away, but the unveil at this Expo tells us that it is on it's way.

Almost the end of the day, but not the end of excitement, right? Tell us what you think of the new stars below.
