We're big, big fans of the Panda 4X4. Especially James May. The small, feisty Fiat can pretty much go anywhere if you put your mind to it, thanks to a clever electronic traction system, ample ground clearance and low first gear.

But someone in Italy wants more ground clearance. Lots more. So they made the Panda into a monster truck. We don't know why, but we also don't really care because it looks fantastic.

TopGear's Tom Ford has just returned from his own little adventure in the new Panda. So keep your eyes peeled for that in the near future. But until then, watch the monster truck version below...
