Kindle and Kindle Store available in India
Time to build up your ebook collection with the biggest selection and lowest prices in India
Ok, so the Kindle launch in India is not exactly news, since it has been available for quite a while. But now it's easily available in your local Croma store, and the good news is you don't have to rely on Amazon's dollar prices to buy books anymore. Amazon has launched the Indian Kindle Store with prices in rupees instead of US dollars.
The India Kindle Store features a over a million titles, from a range of Indian authors, including Chetan Bhagat, Ashwin Sanghi, Ravinder Singh and Amish Tripathi. Readers will also find exclusive Kindle books such as “Love, Life and a Beer Can” by Prashant Sharma, and “Reality Bites; a not so innocent Love Story” by Anurag Anand as well as over one million free classics available to download and read on Kindle.
Of course all these titles are not just limited to the Kindle reader, and will also be usable on the Kindle reader app available on just about all mobile platforms. Check out the India-exclusive store at www.amazon.com/kindlestoreindia.
