Mahindra Racing has been making waves lately. Winning the constructors' title in the 2012 Italian National Motorcycle Racing Championship (CIV), and encouraging performances in MotoGP's Moto3 class this year mean that now, the team's popularity is at an all-time high. To ensure that the ever-growing fan base does not miss out on any of the action, Mahindra Racing, in conjunction with Mahindra Satyam, has created an Android-based mobile application.

The app carries all features found on Mahindra Racing’s website including race results, image galleries, bike specs, a race calendar and a countdown widget. Linked to the team’s Facebook and Twitter accounts, it will also deliver newsletters, along with supplying information about the riders, press releases, and providing the option of sharing images through Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp.

At the launch of the application, Mufaddal Choonia, CEO, Mahindra Racing said, “Mahindra Racing has a growing fan base, with increasing support from within India. For example, we have the largest online motor sports community from India with more than 800,000 fans ‘liking’ us on Facebook. The launch of Mahindra Racing’s official mobile application is our way of ensuring we continually engage with our fans and give them all of the team’s latest news and updates straight to their mobile phone.”

If you are keen on following the team’s activities and have an Android phone, you can download the app here.
