MapmyIndia's navigators now available at Maruti Suzuki
VX140s Premium and ZX250 to be offered as Maruti Genuine Accessories at all dealerships across India
MapmyIndia has announced its tie-up with Maruti Suzuki in India, and will now display two of its highest-selling products - the Vx140s Premium and the Zx250 - at all Maruti Suzuki dealerships across India.
Both products will be sold by Maruti as a "Maruti Genuine Accessory", a move that helps MapmyIndia more than double its outreach, keeping in mind the fact that Maruti Suzuki's products are the most popular in the country.
The Vx140s Premium offers advanced house-level 3D voice-based navigation experience, covers 4751 cities at street level, 7.1 million points of Interest, 36+ cities at house-address level and voice guidance in English, Hindi and 9 regional Indian languages. It also gets a e 4.3-inch (10.9 cm) touchscreen, multimedia functions (built-in music, movie, photo player, 2GB internal memory, expandable unto 8 GB via an SD card slot), and Bluetooth hands-free calling.
On the other hand, the Zx250 offers similar features, but also carries the "Aura" interface, a larger 5-inch screen and reverse camera support.
Speaking at the event, Shivalik Prasad, Executive Director, MapmyIndia said, "Maruti Suzuki is the leader of the Indian automobile industry by far. The availability of MapmyIndia GPS products as a Maruti Genuine Accessory at Maruti Suzuki showrooms across India helps us move forward in our mission to power every car in India. It’s our commitment to give the best driving experience to Maruti Suzuki customers."
The Vx140s Premium and Zx250 will cost you Rs 11,990 and Rs 15,990 respectively, but then you don't depend on internet connectivity to use the systems, so it should be a one-time expense, and a useful one at that.
