Rockford Fosgate unveils a demo car fitted with DSR1
The DSR1 signal processor can hook up to your OEM radio system as a plug and play solution
Rockford Fosgate unveiled a Tata Nexon kitted out in some of their finest audio equipment, as a demonstration of what they are capable of. This vehicle was also fitted with the DSR1, a replacement to the factory amplifier that doesn’t require you to change the OEM radio and touchscreen interface.
The DSR1 is a high-end audio processor that you can hook up to your car and allows you to retain the factory equipped controls and features. Which means, regardless of the fact that you are upgrading your sound system and swapping out the stock amplifier, you will not lose Bluetooth and navigation audio. The sound can also be managed through an application on a smartphone or tablet, making it simple for the user to set up the system as he likes. The DSR1 retails for Rs 28,999. The demo Tata Nexon was also equipped with their amplifiers, speakers and subwoofers.
Speaking at the launch, William R Jackson, President and CEO of Rockford Corporation said, “India is an attractive market and we are excited to launch the DSR1 here. We are expecting a good response from the audience in this market with the help of our association with Blaupunkt India.”
The DSR1 can be retro fitted to any existing vehicle and allows you to retain the OEM interface and functions while upgrading your sound system.
