This is an Audi TT-shaped mouse
What comes after an R8-shaped memory stick? A wireless TT-shaped mouse, that's what
Audi really is at the top of its game in the luxury car market in India, but it wants to do more than that. It even wants to dominate the luxury merchandise segment, and after showing us a memory stick that resembled an R8, it has now revealed this for the discerning Audi fan: the Audi mouse.
It says that this is a "stylised Audi vehicle", but if you know your Audis well, it won't take you very long to figure out that this is a TT. With a scroll wheel in place of that 2-litre, four-cylinder motor.
It is a wireless device, clocked at 2.4GHz, runs USB interface 1.1 or 2.0 (depends on what you want), features a high-resolution 2000dpi sensor and can be operated from a minimum range of 6 metres.
Speaking at the launch, Mr Michael Perschke, Head, Audi India said, " Now, Audi enthusiasts will not only drive their favorite luxury brand to work, they can have it on their workstations too and manouevre their PC in style with a wireless computer mouse based on Audi cars."
Compatible with PC as well as Mac, the Audi mouse is now available across Audi's dealerships in India for a mere sum of Rs 5,599.
