Jaisalmer's royal cenotaphs, constructed in the memory of Bhatti rulers. They were in the opposite direction of Sam dunes, but the drive and the visit was well worth it.

The Sam dunes in Jaisalmer absolutely lived up to our expectations. The sand is powder-thin and the dunes are truly overwhelming. We did venture into the sands but not too deep, since our XUV500's were two-wheel-drives.
