After our great drive to Pachmarhi last evening, it felt great to wake up to this sunrise. The Scorpio 4x4 AT ate the winding roads that lead up to this forest area after Satpura. If you’re not the type to get squeamish, you should definitely do this stretch. Today we will explore a bit of Pachmarhi, while avoiding the tourist rush and anything else that comes in the way of a good drive.
Thanks to the army cantonment settled in Pachmarhi, every road is highly maintained, which not only increases accessibility for tourists, but also gives them a chance to get a dream road trip out of it. Right now, it’s us who are living the dream.
Pachmarhi has truly earned the nickname ‘Queen of Satpura’.

Now we head to the Pench forest sanctuary, where we have a forest safari to look forward to. That too in the comfort of our own Scorpio 4x4 AT. Did you know that Rudyard Kipling conceptualized and wrote the Jungle Book in Pench?
