When Mercedes thought that they need to reply to a question Roll-Royce never asked, they made the Maybach. Maybachs are well-engineered, luxuriously appointed and all that, but the cars haven't been able to make an emotional connect to someone who is parting with so much money. It's a good car, but there are better ones.
