Repsol Honda 2013 is a go!

And finally, that famous livery is altered this season. Won't really hamper the riders though

Talk about iconic paint schemes. If you're even mildly interested in motorcycles, or even if you're not, chances are, you've come across the famed colours in motorcycling - the Repsol Honda livery. In the 19 years that they've been together, Repsol and Honda had only tweaked the paint scheme year after year. However, for 2013, Repsol Honda has modified its paint booth to spray its RC213V in different colours. And we're having trouble letting go of the older masterpiece, to be honest.

However, the paint is unlikely to slow down lead rider Dani Pedrosa who comes off the back of a strong finish to 2012, as he harassed eventual title winner Jorge Lorenzo for the second half of the season. We expect him to get off to a flying start to 2013, come April 7th.

And then there's Marc Marquez whom everyone's touting as the Next Big Thing, the man (okay, boy) for whom the Rookie's Rule was revoked, allowing Honda to snap him up straight to the factory team. He's fast, hungry and ruthless on the track, and it's going to be fun to see him mixing it up with the big boys this year.

But until the official tests begin in Sepang, Malaysia early this February, we have to make do with looking at these photos. So tell us, do you like the switch or not?
