Have you ever fancied taking the mighty Mercedes-Benz GL and M-class SUVs for some mud plugging? If yes, then here’s your chance to do that at the company’s Pune facility.

Mercedes-Benz, under its Performance Drive platform, has inaugurated its globally benchmarkerd off-road test track at its manufacturing facility in Pune. This will enable the participants to experience the Mercedes-Benz SUVs on the specially created off-road track. You could opt for a day-long session at the off-road track which will allow you to push the Merc SUVs to the limits under the supervision of trained professionals. It also allows the participants to try their own SUVs on the track.

The manufacturer has also joined hands with the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI) to foster young aspirants for a career in motorsport. Here, from a pool of 50 applicants, the top three drivers get a chance to be a part of Mercedes’ training programme in Europe. This will be an all-expenses paid programme and Mercedes hopes it will help garner new talent in Motorsport in India.

The Mercedes-Benz Performance Drive platform also includes Track day experience, International Driving experiences, an AMG driving academy and Star drive experience.
