Yamaha's FZ, FZ-S and Fazer get new shades
Looks like new graphics and paint schemes are the only changes for this year's variants
Yamaha's FZ series has been a hit in the Indian market. It's done well enough for Yamaha to leave it and its sister variants, the FZ-S and the Fazer to their own devices. So, come 2013, we weren't expecting any significant changes to the bikes, and Yamaha has indeed confirmed the same with the introduction of these new paint schemes.
There are no changes in the product features, but we are confident that these variants too will be an instant hit amongst the biking enthusiasts.
The FZ is now available in three new shades, whereas the FZ-S and the Fazer are available in four different shades each. New body graphics are the other addition but apart from this, the bikes remain unchanged mechanically.
Speaking about the bikes, Mr. Jun Nakata, Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd. said, "Our FZ series and Fazer bikes have gained immense popularity over the past few years. The launch of new color variants is a clear illustration of how the market has responded to our bikes. Our strategic intent is to provide customers with stylish variants to suit their personalities. We have launched the FZ series and Fazer bikes in new looks in terms of color and graphics. There are no changes in the product features, but we are confident that these variants too will be an instant hit amongst the biking enthusiasts."
The new FZ has been priced at Rs 70,250, while the FZ-S and Fazer series will set you back by Rs 72,280 and Rs 77,380 respectively (all prices, ex-showroom, Delhi).
