If single cylinder bikes like the KTM 390 and the Pulsar 375 left you asking for more, you finally have a twin cylinder option in the spanking new Kawasaki Ninja 300, which was launched today.

The new parallel twin cylinder 296cc Ninja engine pumps 38.5bhp of power, 27Nm of torrque channeled through a 6-speed manual transmission. It comes with features seen on litre class bike like the Ninja ZX-10R, which include Assist & Slipper Clutch and an aerodynamic body design that are results of Kawasaki Racing Technology.

Apart from the gadgetry, the bike also gets a digital speedo meter that was missing on the Ninja 250R (Ninja 300 replaces the 250R). In India the Ninja 300 will come in only two colours, Kawasaki Lime Green and Pearl Stardust White.

It will be sold and serviced  through Bajaj Auto’s 71 Probiking stores, across the country. It will retail at a hefty price tag of Rs. 3.50 lacs (ex-showroom Delhi). Worth it, TopGearers? Speak up in the comments below.
