Launched: Chevrolet Enjoy
With the Enjoy, Chevrolet strikes deep in the heart of Maruti Ertiga territory
If you were looking for a MPV other than the Maruti Ertiga, your wait ends today. Chevrolet India has launched the Enjoy MPV in Mumbai and as you would expect from any people-carrier, the Enjoy can seat 7-8 passengers with ease. This is thanks to the taller and boxier proportions that help maximise passenger space.
The Enjoy comes with two engine options. First being the 1.4-litre petrol that makes 103bhp and 131Nm of torque. The second being the diesel, which is where most of the Enjoy's numbers will come from. This is the 1.3-litre motor making 76bhp and 187Nm of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual transmission, which, as we found out in our review, blesses the Enjoy with decent handling traits.
The Chevrolet Enjoy will be offered with a choice of three variants; LS, LT and the top-of-the-line LTZ. The LTZ variant gets features like an audio system with Aux-in and USB connectivity (no Bluetooth, though), captain seats and powered ORVMs, in addition to the regular stuff like power steering, air-con that's standard across the range. The ex-showroom Delhi/Thane prices for the Chevrolet Enjoy are as follows:
Petrol 7-seater: LS - Rs 5.54 lakh, LT - Rs 6.31 lakh, LTZ - Rs 6.99 lakh
Petrol 8-seater: LS - Rs 5.49 lakh
Diesel 7-seater: LS - Rs 6.75 lakh, LT - Rs 7.42 lakh, LTZ - Rs 7.99 lakh
Diesel 8-seater: LS - Rs 6.69 lakh
