Launched: Bajaj Discover 125 T
Bajaj launches a mid-level variant of the Discover, the 125 T, comes with dual rear shock absorbers
The Discover has gained a steady fan following over the years. It all started with the 125cc bike and the line-up grew to accommodate a 100cc as well. Bajaj launched the all-new 125cc Discover, the ST125, at the beginning of the year. It came with a monoshock (a segment-first), and a petal disc brake.
Now, 6 months down the line, Bajaj has launched another variant of its popular-selling model, called the Discover 125 T. It sports the same 124.6cc mill that makes 12bhp, 10.8Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed transmission and gets a petal disc brake upfront.
But unlike the Discover ST’s monoshock, the T gets a set of dual shocks at the rear. There is a choice of two variants – front disc brake & front drum brake – priced at Rs 55,500 & Rs 52,500 (ex-showroom Delhi) respectively. At that price, the disc brake-equipped 125 T is just around Rs 500 cheaper than the ST variant.
