CONSUMER ALERT: the claims that the popular carbonated drink Red Bull allows you to fly is a metaphor. It’s not actually true. Which this man found as he inexplicably attempted to jump over Sebastien Buemi’s moving car at the Red Bull F1 Exhibition in Japan.

Buemi was only going 20mph as he left the event, which was raising money for tsunami victims in Chiba, eastern Japan, so neither bloke nor car incurred much damage. The jumper walked away but it looks like he lost a shoe as he bounced off the Toro Rosso STR 2011's rear wheel. Ouch.
