Etios Liva finally launched
The Etios hatch is here and it's really affordable...
After months of teasing (and a slight delay) Toyota Kirloskar Motor have finally launched the much awaited hatchback version of Etios - the Etios Liva. In case you missed our live Twitter coverage, the Liva is built on the same platform as the Etios sedan, and has been specifically developed for Indian customers.
One of the biggest plus points about the Liva is the overall space in the car. Besides good cabin space, 251L boot space, 13L cooled glove box, Liva also features seven one litre bottle holders, mobile holder and many more such useful storage spaces inside the car.
Liva is powered by a newly developed 1.2L, 16V DOHC engine coupled with a 5-Speed manual transmission. The Etios has a claimed mileage of 18.31kpl. Other features include electric power steering with audio controls, driver and passenger air bags and ABS with EBD.
Liva will be available in four variants, J, G, V and VX, priced between Rs 3,99,000 and Rs 5,99,000 ex-showroom Delhi. Just as we predicted in our review.
