It’s the 70’s once again! Time to take out your daddy’s bell-bottoms and that checkered shirt you've been saving for a special day. Thanks to Piaggio Vespa is back on Indian shores.

If you're cool enough to remember the 70's, Vespa was available in India back in the day, when it was better known LML Vespa (joint venture between the Indian LML and Italian Vespa). Now just known as Vespa, it's available in 50 exclusive showrooms opened by Piaggio across India.

The Vespa LX 125, as the name suggests, runs on a 125cc motor that makes 10bhp and 10.6Nm of torque. It is priced at the premium end of the scooter market, and will cost Rs 66,000 ex-showroom Maharashtra.

If you can’t find daddy’s retro gear to go along with your spanking new scooter, don't worry, the dealers also sell Vespa branded merchandise and accessories. Tell us if you're suddenly into big collars and handle-bar moustaches, or if you're simply having a good laugh at people who are. Talk to us in the comments below.
