After opening its first Indian showroom in Mumbai last month, Mini didn't want the good folks in our capital city waiting. Delhi, you have your own Mini showroom now.

The dealer partner Bird Automotive showroom is located in the posh south-Delhi's Vasant Kunj area, right opposite Delhi Public School (DPS). Spanning across 5,000 square metres the dealership currently has six Minis on display.

Mini also launched its own financial arm — Mini financial services, which a la BMW financial services, will be delivering tailor-made loans and other facilities like insurance to their prospective buyers.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Andreas Schaaf, President, BMW Group India said, “we have already sold over 50 Mini’s since its launch and am not ruling out the arrival of the diesel version in the near future.” But Dr. Schaaf expects this equation to change with Delhi contributing two-thirds of the Mini sales across India with the roll-out of the two new dealerships in the NCR region soon.
