Launched: Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0
‘Mach’, it’s a term frequently used by aerospace engineering to measure the speed of supersonic jets compared to the speed of sound. And the reason we’re talking about it because Ducati has just launched a variant of its Scrambler, called the Scrambler Mach 2.0. No, it isn’t going to let you travel by the speed of sound, if you’re wondering. Why the name, then? Well it takes inspiration from the Mach 1250 of the 1965.
The Scrambler Mach 2.0 is a special edition motorcycle that’s designed by renowned custom bike builder, Roland Sands, featuring a unique paint job that harks back to the 70’s. Other distinguishing features include an all-black theme for the motor and frame, a cross-section handlebar also dipped in black, and a dedicated flat track pro seat. Other than these changes, it’s quite similar to the base Scrambler mechanically. So then, it continues to be powered by the 803cc L-Twin motor developing 73bhp and 67 Newtons, teamed with a 6-speed gearbox.
You can have this special edition Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 for Rs 8.52 lakh, ex-showroom, and it will be sold through Ducati dealership pan-India alongside the other six variants on sale already.
