Launched: Tronx One at Rs 50,000
The shift towards electrifying our daily means of transport is not only restricted to four-wheels, even bike manufacturers are coming up with their version of electric mobility. And we got to see this trend present itself at this year’s Auto Expo. Electric bikes such as the TVS Creon, Menza Lucat and the UM Renegade Thor were headlining the Auto Expo. Now, we have seen electric bikes like the Okinawa Praise and the Ather 450 make it to the production line and adding another e-bike to this list is this: Tronx One.
Wait, that’s a bicycle? Yes, it is. But it’s not an ordinary bicycle. It is powered by a 36V battery which sends the power to the rear wheel via a 250W motor. The battery is detachable and takes 3-4 hours to charge. The manufacturer claims that the Tronx One will cover 45-50km once it's fully charged. The e-bike is equipped with a lot of cool features such as three riding modes – pedal assist, thumb throttle and walk assist – a TFT display and Bluetooth connectivity. The e-bike tips the scale at 25kg and sits on an aluminium frame.
“With unique features such as advanced detachable lithium battery technology powered by advanced Samsung cells which are designed to carry and charge, the product is an ideal companion for the consumer as it offers a powerful and fun riding experience powered by the tronX ecosystem.” Says Anoop Nishanth, Founder & CEO, Tronx Motors.
Available in two colour options – red and blue – the Tronx One has a price tag of Rs 50,000. The bike manufacturer has joined hands with service and care partners across 9 cities – Mumbai, Goa, Pune, Ahmedabad, Delhi-NCR, Chandigarh, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
