Datsun has updated the Go and the Go+

Datsun has launched the updated variants of the Go and the Go+. If you are thinking that the updated models have just received a new paint scheme, then you’d be wrong.

Up front, there are some significant changes over the previous models. The front grille has received a few tweaks here and there to make it look more muscular and the front bumper now gets LED lights. The top-of-the-line trim now gets 14-inch alloy wheels, rear wiper and rear parking sensors. On the inside, it gets a redesigned dashboard layout, a new 7.0-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, voice recognition and a revised tachometer.

Mechanically, they remain unchanged. The 1,200cc, petrol motor churns out 67bhp/104Nm and is paired to a five-speed manual transmission. In terms of features, they get a Bluetooth audio system, air-condition, follow-me-home headlamps, child lock and engine immobilizer. In terms of safety, dual airbags and ABS are standard.

As far as prices are concerned, the Go starts at Rs 3.29 lakh and the Go+ starts at Rs 3.83 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom).
