Hyundai to unveil the all-new Santro on October 23

Hyundai is all set the launch the all-new Santro on October 23. After being in production for more than 15 years, Hyundai decided to take the Santro off the market and promote its other offerings such as the Grand i10 and the Elite i20. Now though, the Santro is back with a twist of modernity. The all-new Santro is based on a new platform and has a host of new features.

The all-new Santro is powered by a 1.1-litre petrol motor that churns out 67bhp and 100Nm of torque. Hyundai claims that both the variants are capable of returning 20.3kpl. There's also a CNG variant on offer. There is an automatic transmission as well as a five-speed manual gearbox available.

In terms of features, the new Santro is equipped with a 7.0-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Mirror Link, ABS with EBD and airbag at the driver’s side and first-in-class rear AC vents.

As far as prices are concerned, Hyundai hasn’t revealed it yet, but we expect it to be priced under Rs 4 lakh and if you were eagerly waiting for the Santro, then we have good news for you. With a booking amount of Rs 11,000, Hyundai will start accepting the pre-orders from October 10 till October 22 through its online portal. But, you need to be quick, because this is an introductory offer and is limited to the first 50,000 customers.
