Maruti Suzuki opens 400th Arena showroom

Expanding its automotive experience for new age customers, Maruti Suzuki announced that it recently inaugurated its 400th Arena showroom, in less than two years. Arena showrooms are now present in 278 cities and towns in the country.

Customers have the option to buy new vehicles from Maruti Suzuki’s three retail channels - Arena, Nexa and commercial. The company’s total sales network has crossed 2,940 showrooms covering more than 1,860 towns and cities. 

Seeing the current trends of car buyers and their tendency to research online before purchase, Maruti now lets customers register on the website and then seamlessly continue their purchase in the showroom by entering their mobile number on a navigation portal. The entire product portfolio is visible on touch screens placed at the showroom. Dedicated personalization zones have car configurators that enable customers to electronically customise their cars.

The company plans to eventually make all their showrooms adopt this format to ease the customization process for the customers.
