    Front two seats are about usable. The two in the rear are a bit of a joke. Reasonable boot.

  • Performance

    Rather old 2-litre diesel doesn't make for inspiring performance, neither can the auto 'box act fast.

  • Cool

    One of those super cool cars which will always get you stares where ever you go and never run out of style.

  • Quality

    Well put together. Solid build, reasonable interior quality. Dated dash layout.

  • Handling

    Based on the Golf chassis - reason enough for the Beetle to be a pretty impressive handling car.

  • Practicality

    Not the column you would be looking at in case you want to buy a Beetle for over 20-lakhs.

  • Running costs

    Fully imported car implies expensive spares. Diesel is reasonably efficient though.
