Launched: Honda Dio Deluxe
Expanding its two-wheeler portfolio in India, Honda has launched the new Dio Deluxe. With a price tag of Rs 53,292 (ex-showroom, Delhi) the Deluxe will sit at the top of the Dio line-up.So, what do we get for the additional Rs 3,000? Some new decals on the body panels, right? Err, you get much more than just some cool decals. For starters, the Deluxe variant gets tubeless tires, LED headlight, digital speedometer, service due indicator, 4-in-1 lock system, mobile charging socket, dual paint scheme and of course, some new decals. Keeping in mind that you have to shell out just Rs 3,000 over the standard variant, the Deluxe hits the sweet spot with its feature list, doesn't it?Mechanically it remains the same as the standard Dio, it gets a 109cc motor which produces 8bhp 9Nm of torque. But the Japanese manufacturer claims that the engine is now more fuel efficient. A 130mm drum brake at the front and a 130mm at the rear does the braking duty.
