Audi Q3 Dynamic Edition launched
The end of each year brings with it the festive season. And with it comes great discounts on almost anything one can buy, including cars. Automakers too, offer great discounts and even bring out special, limited editions to herd customers into their showrooms. This year is no different. Joining the ranks is Audi, with a limited edition of one of its bestsellers - the Q3.Called the Q3 Dynamic Edition, this baby Audi is limited to just 101 units. And, what's different? You ask. Quite a few things. Take the exterior to begin with; the face gets a chrome-embellished grille, revised air intakes and a more aggressive bumper. The keen eyed among you may also notice the body colour paint finish applied to the front and rear bumpers, side body mouldings and wheel arches. That's not all. The rear doors have Quattro labelling and the tail lamps are clear lens unit equipped with dynamic turn signals; so there's no missing this special edition on the road.Step inside and you'll instantly notice the extensive use of aluminium. The material has been used to add a dash of sportiness to the cabin, making its presence felt on the switchgear and control knobs. Audi has adorned this edition with boatloads of technology\: MMI Navigation System, Parking System Plus, rear-view camera, Audi sound and voice dialogue systems, all come loaded from the factory. The MMI infotainment unit also gets a phone box that enables better signal reception, a 20gb jukebox, two SDHC slots and support for Bluetooth. Oh, almost forgot to mention LED interior lighting, Audi e-LED (carpet projection lamps on front doors) and power adjustable front seats as standard on the menu.On the normal offering, two power outputs are available, but not on this one. The Dynamic Edition can only be had with the 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel putting out 177bhp and 380Nm of torque. All that is sent to the Quattro AWD system through the seven-speed S-tronic transmission.The Q3 Dynamic Edition adds auto dimming mirrors, flat tyre indicator and six airbags to the array of safety technologies already present, such as\: Hill Start and Hill Descent Assist, ABS, EBD and traction control.Giving his thoughts Joe King, head, Audi India says, The new Audi Q3 launched last year had upped the appeal with a refreshed design and a number of technical innovations.
