Caltex is celebrating a significant milestone with regards to its presence in Malaysia after the Caltex Jalan Larkin service station in Johor Bahru turned 50 years old recently.
Speaking at a ceremony marking this historic milestone, Caltex retailer Lee Poi Khim attributes the station’s longevity to the strength of the Caltex brand, as well as the support and loyalty of its customers. “When my father and uncle started the business in 1962, they instilled a culture of upholding service excellence. Thanks to dedicated staff, I have kept this customer promise since taking over in 1974.”
In conjunction with the station’s golden anniversary, Caltex has launched the Caltex Spot My Journey Sticker Contest organized alongside radio partners ERA FM, MY FM and HITZ.FM. The contest runs until the 30th of September, offering prizes in the form of RM100,000 in Caltex StarCard Debit as well as 15 units of Samsung Galaxy SIII smart phones.
