Not too long ago, Porsche announced that its highly anticipated 918 Spyder lapped the Nurburgring with an impressive time of 7 minutes and 14 seconds and now they’ve released a video to prove it.
Well, we don’t exactly get to watch the full lap but the car seen in the video which runs on production tyres provides a good indication as to what we can expect the production version to be like once it is launched a year from now.
Tentatively, we can expect the car to be powered by a 4.6-litre V8 lump with two electric motors that produce a combined output of approximately 750hp. The century sprint will be completed in less than 3 seconds and the car is said to be able to hit speeds of up to 325km/h.
